Agreed, I wouldn’t rule it out at all. A subscription model or one off software purchase of a pedal with near 100% margin and no possibility of you selling on the second hand market thus depriving them of another sale? They’d bite your hand off to offer it on any platform. If someone at boss hasn’t already started thinking they’re a software company that also makes hardware rather than a hardware company that also makes software I’d be surprised. Another great example is Microsoft developing for PlayStation because they’re more interested in selling software than shifting Xboxes. I think the main obstacle to them putting this in place, boss or for other plugin creators, is going to be developing a robust delivery method as that would take a hell of a lot of dev work in terms of payment processing and authentication etc - so suspect it may be some time off still! Also, yes agreed with some other commenters, the muff and sansamp sound great and are very accurate. Tube screamer is a bit meh though…

Reckon so, I can’t see them having the bandwidth to do everything people might want from scratch so hopefully they have an mxr/boss/ehx deal lined up or in progress. You would have thought that they have software versions of their own pedals already that will be easily portable. Boss definitely do, just a question of whether they want to play ball I guess. But yeah, dirt pedals are low hanging fruit as they are pretty simple circuits and gives people some different and classic options to the dg ones. Shows they are good on the updates so that’s a win win. looking forward to updating and trying the muff in particular!

So, having spent a good few hours creating my patches for a gig tomorrow, really really impressed. Can safely say the ampeg svt emulation is worth the price alone for me, the break up and bounce is there. It sounds better and clearer than my actual svt classic ever did. Agree with some other comments that the modulation effects are a little tame - envelope filter in particular I couldn’t get anything approaching funky out of but no doubt more extreme blocks are coming.

Got mine from guitar guitar through today. Went into andertons and cancelled the other order off straight afterwards! Weird how gg got as few deliveries in before them but no matter. so far so good, ampeg svt sound is way more accurate than the sgt preamp i have. Finally might have something that approximates my knackered svt classic well enough!

definitely having you on there. They’ve had two batches in since first one in April. still could be worse, ordered mine from andertons at beginning of may. Told me they had ten coming in a week, still waiting…had the opportunity to go for one from guitar guitar in July when they were available but as I’d already paid in full I stuck with it assuming supplies were being distributed equally

I’ll just leave this here then 😜 -

Can confirm it does nothing if the sgt footswitch is off.I also have one for sale if op would like!😎 -
Ordered mine from andertons on 3rd may. Official line is still September from them. Got to factor in that scandanavia is shutting down for the next month I guess…Should have bought from guitar guitar when they came up and cancelled andertons but never mind!

Chance would be a fine thing! Still waiting for mine to come through….

I needed a 5 string for an audition once and picked up a nearly new sterling ray5 from fb. Managed to sell it later that month (fb again), went within days and with a £50 profit to boot! So from my (albeit limited) experience I’d say not a problem at all!

A thought to clear down to a simpler setup has been accelerated and yet at the same time somehow completely upended due to the unexpected arrival of a certain new darkglass multi effect unit! However, I promised the missus I will sell before I buy, thus I present a smorgasbord of pedals for sale that are to various degrees surplus to requirements now. Although upfront disclaimer; I may withdraw whatever's left once I hit the breakeven point so best be quick! So without further ado, i have the following, in no particular order of excitement: (SOLD) Sansamp BDDI programmable - no box, great little unit served me well for many a gig! Three separate presets for different tones, I used to run it svt/svt but louder/full distortion. £160 inc P&P (SOLD) MXR bass compressor - best one ive used for one pedal transparent comp, meter is good touch too, used to let me know when my bass' dodgy wiring was playing up again - £100 inc P&P C4 Source Audio synth - tons of tones to amaze and delight unsuspecting bass mates/punters, boxed. £160 inc P&P Ampeg SGT DI - mint cond. great pedal and swiss army knife, bought it brand new from Andertons about 9 months ago and very versatile for ampless gigs or recording or just a glorified dirt pedal like i use it. Actually i hope this one doesn't go... Got the OG box and PSU with it. - £260 inc P&P Boss OC-5 - mint condition. look its not an OC-2 but again it's less than 12 month old and boxed. £90 inc P&P Zvex Mastotron - Mint condition. brutal fuzz pedal as you'd want/expect. Boxed £90 inc P&P Darkglass Microtubes X - Mint condition, my favorite disto, makes me enjoy playing brightside again, boxed. £150 inc P&P TC Electronics micro chorus - great little unit. Cant really fault it for size/price. £50 inc P&P. Empress MK2 ParaEQ - rolls royce of a pedal, endless tweakability and hi/lo pass/shelf etc. Mint cond - £240 inc P&P Pedaltrain 2 inc hardcase - brand new unused board plus pretty good nick case (less than 12 months use). Basically I bought for the hardcase only to replace my battered softcase and it made sense to pay slightly more for the version with a new board hence its lack of use. £130 inc P&P. (SOLD) Wooly Mammoth - proper hand painted by Myrold first edition, none of that printed on crap you get nowadays.Difficult to price up since they are rarer than actual mammoths but...£190 inc P&P? I dunno, again hope this doesnt go... Boss ODB-3 - classic OD pedal, sounds great by itself! £40 inc P&P Dropper / wireless in pics not for sale I just couldnt be bothered to crop them out. Payment via paypal or Cash on collection from Yateley Hants. Cheers all!

Thanks, although that said there is one non pro tab on ug that - having eyeballed it - looks like it might be good. Must have missed it whilst I was rinsing the free trial!

Hello all, does anyone have a decent enough tab for this Robbie Williams song? There’s a few YouTube vids that are good but no tab with them, ultimate guitar’s pro tab is wrong and I’d rather not put the effort into working it out by ear if I can help it 😂 I’ll do it if I must but time is of the essence so any help would be appreciated! cheers!

I have a pf350 as a spare for my svt classic, it's not bad for the money and weight difference. Just about loud enough for hard rock and does a passable impression through a sansamp. Just misses the bounce and growl of the classic head but it's saved my arse a few times!

Had a great first lesson with jake this week. Great guy and some valuable insights. After being self taught for 16 yrs we pinpointed exactly what I wanted to achieve within about half an hour and he consolidated a few bits and pieces on technique that had been floating round my head for far too long in various states! Already seeing the benefits and much to practice/think about before next session!
