Nitro finish which marks easily hence a couple of dings and chips which I've tried to show on the photos, crazing on the finish also. Great vintage sound, plays and sounds superb! Lovely slim fast neck. I bought it new 3 years ago. Has TI flats on it. I had one of these some time ago (the actual bass featured in Bassist mag) and it wasn't a nitro finish on mine (and yes mine was a genuine USA RI).
