I take it you mean chords, rather than technique???

Thanks for that, but I know what the notes are (roughly) it's more the general feel to that section, its very different from the rest of the song and I can't work out how to get that sort of push going on. Should have been clearer in my original message :)

Erm Neilb thats just the chords, innit?

Try dropping dave_bass5 a PM as he has been in Jam/Weller cover bands and I am certain he will know

Edit: I know the octave-y bit you mean, I would guess its not slapped, just picked fast on the octaves
