Looks like i am aquiring this in a trade deal, honestly i am unsure if it will take the place of my Ampeg, But i was wondering what other peoples opinions are of this unit? Hows the valve sound? The dual compressor is partly motivated by the specific need of slap bass, and the preamp can do the clean and scooped sound with ease. BassBod Posted February 19, 2010 Share Posted February 19, 2010 Try it and see. I've always enjoyed the GP11/12's I've used (its the older cabs I couldn't get on with!).
