I remember when I first heard Fizzle Fry I was late for work because I just couldn’t stop listening. Tbh it was the drumming that fascinated me the most. It took me a while to ‘interpret’ Claypools playing and found lots I liked about his approach in time. The Brown Album has some of my favourite playing, along with His work with Holy Mackrel on high ball with the devil.
