The Trace pre has a lovely smooth tone from the pair of valves and the nice interactive passive eq circuit. I've heard that lots of people use these in a studio for recording as the core sound is so nice without any nasty hiss or buzz from the valves. Really is a lovely piece of kit and deserves to be used regularly The QSC is just a nice simple 2u power amp with lots of typical flexible QSC options and can be used in either stereo of bridged mono modes and runs down to 2 ohms in stero.
