Al Heeley
I bought a pack of those planet waves kits where you can easily make up your own different size patch cables, comes with a load of simple push-fit right angle jacks that seem pretty good quality & robust. No problems to report from mine so far anyway.
voxpop
For the very best try....Chord Company Cream cables..... http://www.chord.co.uk/cream/index.htm
BigRedX
voxpop, Just had a look at the cable in the link you provided. It's essentially the same as what you get from OBBM except the the cable is cream coloured and it costs more than twice as much. IMO the only reason not to buy your cables from OBBM would be because you have the time and the skills to make your own, and even then you need to buying the cable and connectors in suitable quantities to make the cost difference worth your while. Doddy
Like I say in every cable thread..... I use Spectraflex cables all the time and have never had any problems-their patch cables are great.
Finbar
Possibly not boutique, but I've found that I don't have the space for regular sized patch leads, and George L's have been great for me. As long as you know how to put them together (most people reporting errors with them are not building them properly) and don't stomp all over them, they are great. If money and space was no object though, I would get some cables made up from proper Neutrik connectors and everything. Such as the OBBM ones, for instance.
