I can't help thinking that it's a bit of a shame to break up old mags like that though - a bit parting out an old bass. Great way of maximising your income though, you'd only have to sell a couple of reviews to make more than most mags would probably fetch. BB2000 Posted September 8, 2007 Share Posted September 8, 2007 (edited) Does anyone remember a UK bass magazine from the early eighties that was full of gear reviews - can't for the life of me remember the title - but it was an A5 size mag. I was trying to remember the title the other day when I came across an Alligator combo from that period (remember them, with the dark green covering?). It brought a flood of memories back. Happy Jack Posted September 9, 2007 Share Posted September 9, 2007 Some of the Music Ground shops in Denmark Street have the walls "papered" with pages from early-60's music newspapers, interviews with the Beatles & Stones, photos of Lulu and Cilla Black, etc. I assume they're repro rather than original, but I wouldn't mind getting hold of some.
