William Shatner is set to release a new album later this year, featuring a number of handpicked musicians.

I've been a follower of his musical output for some time. He's done some really interesting stuff over the years (some might put that "interesting" in inverted brackets 😂), but his 2004 album Has Been is a really good album.

Agree with that. I had to try and get copies of Transofrmed Man into shops when it was rereleased in the mid 90s and I still don't know if it is a brilliant p*sstake or just drug addled madness. His covers are generally pretty poor but I really like Has Been because it's mostly not covers and it has a sense of humour.
