How do i clear my photo cache on the site?

I'm trying to post photos on some listings I have up but every time I do so I get a pop up telling me that the photos exceed the allowed size and have been skipped. I've had this hapen before sometime last year and at some point I had something come up that gave me the opportunity to clear my photo cache on the site. I have no idea how I did it, it was sheer fluke I think. Can anybody tell me how to do this or give me a link to get to the relevant area? Many thanks

Go to your Profile, select your User ID (top right...) and choose 'My Attachments' from the drop-down list. Hope this helps.

It's also advisable to resize your pictures so they're a reasonable file size, if you haven't already done that - 4MB pictures will rapidly eat up your allowance. And if you give them fairly meaningful names, and need to reuse the pictures, you can use "Other Media" | "Insert existing attachment" to do that.

I would really like the ability to rename stored attachements on here.  Because sometimes (OK, quite often) I'm a lazy bugger and just paste in something i've seen online, and have 20 pages of attachments called "Image.png", whoops!

Go into "My Attachments". Open the particular image.png that you want to rename (I use Irfanview) and save it as a named file (preferably a .jpg), resized if desired. Then look at the right-hand side of the "My Attachments" page, open the post that the image is in by clicking on it, and edit it - replace image.png with the named file, then remove that particular image.png. A bit laborious but you get it done in the end.
