franzbassist Posted Wednesday at 22:05 Posted Wednesday at 22:05 (edited) Hello all Trying to update my new HX One from 3.70 to 3.83 and it just won't work. I have installed Line 6 Librarian and Line 6 Central with no issue, but when I get to this screen: If I click on "update from file", which I have downloaded, it allows me to select the file, but then if I try and click on "perform update" it does nothing. I mean, my mouse clicks, obviously, but nothing happens on screen. Any ideas on what the issue is? Run as administrator perhaps, or different USB cable? Cheers G Edited Wednesday at 22:40 by franzbassist Quote
obbm Posted Wednesday at 22:45 Posted Wednesday at 22:45 I had a similar problem Gareth. Helix software works fine on my Dell XPS15 but Librarian and Central won’t. Line 6 were not a lot of help. In the end I installed their Librarian and Central on a different PC and it worked fine. D. Quote
tauzero Posted Wednesday at 23:54 Posted Wednesday at 23:54 What happens if you update to 3.80 then 3.81 then 3.83? Alternatively, can you update online rather than from a downloaded file? Quote

Thanks Dave. This worked! Librarian and Central both installed fine on my laptop and it's now updated to the latest firmware. BigRedX Posted yesterday at 07:52 Posted yesterday at 07:52 The usual fix is to remove the Librarian and Central programs and their preference files and re-install, because something has become corrupted from the original installation. This which trying on a different computer normally also works. Quote
