I’m fairly sure Cover Solutions did a tab version of it which should still be on You Tube.

I believe that’s where I learn it.

Not really.

 

Full of spelling mistakes (and they must be band if I can spot them) and a rather tasteless jab at Mark Hollis considering that he's passed away the year before the article was written and the author couldn't even be bothered to do a little research.

I've had this in my arsenal for years (the original Talk Talk one though, which is a half step higher than the No Doubt version) - such a fun bassline to play!

I used to play the original TT line on fretless with my old band; it's a lovely bassline.  I don't currently own a fretless (not much call for one with my current band) but it doesn't seem the same playing on a fretted even with lots of chorus.
