chris_b Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) Hi Guys, anyone use this tool to check out the safety of your web access? https://coveryourtracks.eff.org Is it useful? Safe? Any comments? Cheers Edited 9 hours ago by chris_b Quote
pete.young Posted 56 minutes ago Posted 56 minutes ago Not seen this particular tool before, but EFF has a long and positive history so I'm inclined to trust them. My firefox browser gets a pretty good report. I guess it might be useful if you get a bad report and change your browser security model because of it. If this really bothers you, you should probably be looking at Privacy Badger, another of their tools. Quote

I have Privacy Badger, but also saw a very strong recommendation for Ublock Origin. The guy who recommended CYT thought that Tor, Mulvad and Brave were the best browsers. I've never heard of them. I'm very non technical and all this is a puzzle to me. Thanks for the reply. Quote
