Yamaha BB1100s with some issues £175 ON HOLD £175 paisley

Yamaha BB1100s for sale only. I bought this last year, it`s a made in Taiwan model and in good nick these are going for £400 plus but this has a few issues. 

 

The body has some dings as in the photo`s and a weird scuff just in front of the bridge. The 3 way pickup selector switch is worn, it works fine in Jazz or P but wont stay in the middle position to select both pickups. The active/passive circuit works fine.

 

The G tuning peg has an issue, @AndyTravis I think it was? spoke about it in the BB topic in the Bass Guitars section. When you tune the G up the peg actually moves up as you can see in the photo. Can`t remember the fix but I think you need a small rare as rocking horse poo spanner to sort? Or another tuner.

 

Weight is 4.1 kg or 9 lb`s. I will replace the strap pins back to the originals. It has a replacement Gotoh bridge. Collection from Paisley preferred but I have a Andertons double box in the work that I can put it in but you can sort out postage. If thinking of buying please be aware of the above issues.

Wow, what a bargain. Shouldn't take much to fix up and will be on a par with many basses 10 X that cost

I seem to recall they’re a weird box switch. I can’t recall however if they’re able to come apart and go back together…
