fretmeister Posted May 6 Posted May 6 I've been looking at the Aguilar 2 band as that is available as a stack knob, but what else is out there please? ta Quote
fretmeister Posted May 6 Author Posted May 6 I'm not sure the East will fit - it's a bitsa build with a P bass body. I'm not familiar with Retrovibe - I shall investigate. Quote
Hellzero Posted May 6 Posted May 6 (edited) If you can use a soldering iron, this: https://www.musikding.de/Classic-Bass-Preamp-Preamp-kit Don't worry, they are available by batches, so worth taking a look from time to time. Edited May 6 by Hellzero Spelling 2 Quote
Hellzero Posted May 6 Posted May 6 (edited) The Delano Sonar 2 is an excellent aftermarket version of the Stingray preamp. If you can find a second hand Sterling by Music Man Stingray preamp, it's almost as good as an original, but remember that the pickup is very important in the Stingray sound. And you already have one. 😉 Edited May 6 by Hellzero Bloody fingers. 1 Quote
Steve Browning Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Another vote for the Retrovibe. An excellent pre-amp and very reasonably priced. Simple to install as well. 1 Quote
