shoulderpet Posted April 26 Posted April 26 So, I am looking at switching as many of my pedals as possible to mini pedals as my pedal board is becoming too big and weighty. I now have my chorus pedal and EQ pedals sorted so am now looking for an overdrive pedal, what is out there that has a small footprint but doesn't lose low end? I would like to keep the cost below £100 but preferably I love a bargain so the more inexpensive the better. I see there are a lot of of mini overdrive pedals out there but they all seem to be made for guitar. Thanks Quote
JapanAxe Posted Monday at 15:14 Posted Monday at 15:14 Nobels ODR-1 (yes another guitar pedal) is famous for its prominent low end and is available in mini format. The full-size version has top-mounted jacks so would probably save you as much ‘board space. Quote

They also comfortably come in below £100: https://richtonemusic.co.uk/Nobels-ODR-Mini/?gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD_dMP2mU7HJHM6ivOpTCYajXwLUO&gclid=Cj0KCQjwzrzABhD8ARIsANlSWNNJYcfn9nLX3jXkUS2tdd738P0Vnvt9mcdi5BlMFu_zKHNLvU8O4hAaAg4YEALw_wcB Looks like they've issued a v2 with adjustable bass control: https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/241007430618008--nobels-odr-mini2-mini-overdrive-pedal?gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD76p-3t5uLD4DbNS_Iy7Q0NGNOTb&gclid=Cj0KCQjwzrzABhD8ARIsANlSWNNtv6M9Gqi6-KnAmZPBtqecq2szHBli9ceQdPmn2AKH0WZASIj_-n4aAsHsEALw_wcB Edited Monday at 15:19 by Jakester Quote
Greg Edwards69 Posted Monday at 15:30 Posted Monday at 15:30 (edited) Pretty much anything with a clean blend will work for bass and retain the low end. Edited Monday at 15:31 by Greg Edwards69 Quote
