For full information on the BC 112 Mk3 cab, see (from about page 20)

I hope @stevie won't get too upset if I describe it as the ancestor of the LFSys Silverstone - not sure how far separated on the evolutionary scale they are though.

It was assembled from a flat-pack kit supplied by stevie, including the crossover. I completed this late in 2023, after a couple of hiatuses (hiati?). The finish is TuffCab. I have used it for a couple of gigs with a Tecamp Puma 900 and it has acquitted itself well. Note: I haven't fastened the front grille badge on, it will be included.

I don't have an appropriate scale to hand but it weighs somewhere around 15kg. Dimensions are 570 x 417 x 315mm (22.4" x 16.4" x 12.4").

The Speakon sockets on the rear are speakon only, not combi speakon-jack.

This includes a Roqsolid cover.

I don't want to post it - don't mind driving some distance to meet up. Looking for £350 £325.

And a gratuitous cat photo. Look at those eyes. How can you resist buying this? (cat not included)

Silverstone, not Monaco. Wrong Grand Prix.

The referenced thread has 46 pages, which I have skimmed. I must have missed what drivers you put in it. Is it 300 watts like the Silverstone, or 600 like the Monaco?

Nice job by the way. Not without a few frustrations on the way, by the sounds of it.

It's the Faital Pro 12PR320. Faital say it's 300W AES power handling, 600W max power, which would be the equivalent of the Silverstone - original post edited for that.

Having played through a Monaco I can imagine this is quite the beast of a cab, even with the “lower rated” driver. I’m half tempted myself, but the cat would need to be included 😆

how sensitive / loud does it get? also whats the vertical treble dispersion like from that tweeter?

It goes pretty loud. I used it with a Tecamp Puma 900 and it held its own quite happily against two guitarists and a drummer. Vertical treble dispersion is good, IIRC that was one of the design objectives.

Yes, one of the original batch - number 008.

I have serial number 003 and the grille also looks like mine (sourced from Stevie). I'm tempted to buy yours as a matching pair would make a great PA!  These are great cabs that work well in most situations, and the recessed top handle works really well. Here is cab 003 🙂. GLWTS

Could it take a higher power speaker without having to change the horn?

I don't know, @stevie would be the best person to ask. The horn would probably be OK but the crossover and port might need changing.

I guess it's not dangerous or anything, but I wouldn't recommend it. The crossover is designed specifically to pair a Faital 12PR320 with a Celestion CDX1-1425. Swapping the woofer (I assume you mean rather than the tweeter) for a higher xmax will make it sound top heavy, and there will be phasing issues and potentially a dip in the mids.

FWIW the 12PR320 is a very nice speaker, and the price is insane on this thing. The cost of parts themselves alone will be approaching the asking price. I would buy it myself, except I own three of the things already
