simonbrown92 Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 (edited) 2005 USA Fender Jazz Bass with S1 switch. For those unfamiliar with the S1 switching it adds a lovely deep boost to the tone, excellent for slap bass tones and a nice little boost to cut through a mix live. Recently set up and plays lovely. Bridge has been upgraded to a Babicz locking cam bridge which is great for improved tone sustain! Took an unfortunate knock on the bottom which has cracked the laquer throughout the back I’ve tried to photograph is as much as I can along with the other signs of wear. Collection from Ts29 ideally. TheGreek Posted September 29, 2024 Posted September 29, 2024 I used to have one of these in red...completely forgot. Quote
david1711 Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 I have one of these. Great basses. Good luck with your sale. Quote
Lozz196 Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 I’m finding it very difficult to understand why this hasn’t been snapped up, this range of Fenders don’t come up for sale too often which imo is pretty telling, they’re good, people keep hold of them. 1 Quote
david1711 Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 I agree. It’s a bargain at this price. Quote
simonbrown92 Posted October 29, 2024 Author Posted October 29, 2024 I can’t get my head round it tbh I thought I’d set the price too high initially given the cosmetic damage but it still plays and sounds great. American jazz bass for less than £700 should be a steal Quote
Sibob Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 These are the best modern* US Jazz basses that Fender have ever made. If I was looking for a Fender Jazz, I’d be looking for one of these! GLWTS. Si *ie if you don’t want a vintage spec Jazz. 1 Quote

simonbrown92 Posted October 30, 2024 Author Posted October 30, 2024 Last one. Managed to find some old clips, some finger style, tiny bit of slap, plectrum, then plucking/ harmonics/ tapping cheers hgfgnhgfdr.mov 1 Quote
