  1. I tried before but the email address bounced 😬
  2. Any idea where you can find a tonepump? I’ve got the non trimpot in my rebop and can’t find the trimpot version anywhere

  5. 4.3kg on the ever calibrated bathroom scales. It balances lovely with no dive 😎

  8. Managed to find a padded gig bag I’ll thrown in with the sale 🫡
  9. I don’t have any decent boxes for shipping but can do my best to find some mate
  10. The profile front to back is superb but I’m used to jazz bass necks so I wanted to give the neck a little hair cut at the top end 😎. Begrudge parting with it to be honest, my Spector will be next to go the journey as I make funds for a custom build 🤘
  11. You know the deal with these. American made, huge tone and increasingly hard to find. Textured graphite finish in great condition, maple neck, rosewood finger board. The neck has been professionally slimmed down by North east luthier Paul Richardson to 40mm at the nut so it’s lovely to play and a seamless finish on the paint, you wouldn’t know it’s been done. Just been set up by him too and plays great. Overall excellent condition for the age of the bass. Comes with black scratch plate and the grey scratch plate. Padded case included. Will ship for free or drop off around the north east within reason. Only selling to fund something new
  12. Just withdrawn mine, couldn’t part with it. Don’t see many of them kicking about especially in this condition! GLWTS
  13. Updated to include Fender hard case, it’s had some stickers on the front but I’ll give it a proper clean, just took some quick photos, outside of the case had a few scuff marks which is to be expected but no cracks, inside of the case is in great condition, minus one or 2 cat hairs I need to hoover out 😂
  14. I have the case, I wasn’t going to include it cos I need it, but if the right trade came along I’d include it no problem
  15. Putting this out as a feeler, would be interested in a potential swap for a 4 string spector The highly sought after 2005 USA Fender Jazz Bass with S1 switch. For those unfamiliar with the S1 switching it adds a lovely deep boost to the tone, excellent for slap bass tones and a nice little boost to cut through a mix live. Recently set up and plays lovely. Bridge has been upgraded to a Babicz locking cam bridge which is great for improved tone sustain! It’s in really good condition for it’s age, no dents or chips, some light swirl marks but great nick! Previous owner had bought it from new, barely played it so it’s spent most of its life in a box. There’s a slight mark on the back of the headstock where the wood is a slightly different colour but it’s just where the sicker had been left on while it spent it’s life neglected in a box. updated to include fender hard case! 16. Selling my Markbass CMD103H. This amp has served me well and has a lovely tone but I’ve moved back to Gallien Krueger. Made in Italy, 600watts, weighs in at 30kg on the old bathroom scales, incredibly easy to move about. The amp is in good condition, there’s some slight wear on the handles, they’ve been touched up but if you zoom in you’ll be able to see. Comes with a cover. Height - 70cm Width - 60cm Depth - 48cm Kettle will be on and you’re more than welcome to bring a bass and try it out 🤘
  17. When I’d initially had my eyes on the GK NEO IV 4x10 cabs the only place that had them for sale was Andertons.co.uk but they sold out and they’ve said it’s looking like 4 months for a re stock, I think there’s one or two fusion s heads left on there but they’re quite pricey
  18. Update on this. I bought a Fusion 800s off Mr Dinsdale and paired it with a barefaced retro 6x10. Only played it in the house so far so yet to use it in anger but the tone is absolutely superb. I love the Gallien Kruger growl and paired with the barefaced it just sounds so gritty and crisp, tried it with a fender jazz, music man sub and Spector rebop and they all sound amazing. I was a bit concerned about the tone controls etc on the head after reading various opinions online but it only takes 10 minutes of playing or so to feel your way through them. Will update on here after I’ve used it for rehearsal and gigs in the next few weeks but it’s looking like a very solid purchase!
  19. Seems to be the general consensus, cheers man, solidified my decision I reckon 😎
  20. Nice nice, deffo gonna keep an eye out for any of them that crop up on marketplace then, I play in a rock band a full step down and I’ve got a Markbass CMD103h atm, bought it just for home use then joined a band and it’s just not cut out for my needs
  21. Sick cheers man. Sounding more and more like a solid purchase, just wanna make sure I compliment it with a good cab that’s gonna get the most out of that GK growl. What’s your thoughts on Vanderkley? What type of music do you play and what tone etc? Seen a few for sale on here, they look pretty cool but never played one.
  22. Superb playing 👏, articulation and timing are excellent, those alien basses are no joke to play, but you’ve made it look effortless, looking forward to some more of this!
