Hey people,

A couple of weeks ago I bought a used Peavey Dynabass (International Series) from a friend of mine who needed to offload it as he was moving abroad. He said that when he got it from his local music shop (in Cornwall) he bought it as ex-demo, and paid about £250 for it. Can anyone tell me what these basses were worth brand new?

I've got a peavey dynabass - not sure what series it is but it wasn't an expensive one. I paid £175 brand new for it, maybe 5 or so years ago.

Great bass for the money, and it's really nicely balanced due to the long upper horn.

Peavey's website lists the price at £199 for the 4 string and £219 for the 5.
