I would like to 'like' Ashdown.... (Ex Trace and all that) but every experience I have had with one of their amps or cabinets has been a bad one so far..... and that's more experiences I can count on one hand.... draw your own conclusion is the best way
If you want a nice phat, vintage, tubey tone then not many amps do it better, but for an uncoloured hi-fi like sound you should look elsewhere. I've got an ABM500 and I love it.
a BIG +1 :) their after sale service is excellent as well, probably cant be beaten. They did have a few problems when they first shipped production to the prc (apr 07)but they have sorted that out.some people love them some hate them but obviously you get that with other brands.i've got the abm500 11 and i think its the dogs b******S!

ABM 300 EVOII here (built Dec 2005), only issues I've had are general wear and tear from gigging (recently sent to Ashdown for a service and was sorted within 10 days). Extremely reliable and LOUD! As has already been said - fat vintage tones :)

I have a EVO III MAG-300 Combo with 4x10" speakers and I like! It's got a lovely bassy phat tone, and because of the 10" speakers it's also really bright and clear. Not a bit of mud in there (only if you want it).

However, they don't overdrive at all. If you want a slight dirt on your tone, go for hartke

I love Ashdown stuff and really like that they're an English essentially family run company too. My current rig is fat and warm and I love it, never had any reliabilty issues with it or the ABM rig i had previously. There's a reason so many big bands use and them and thats because they last and are are easy to get a good sound out of, thats my 2p anyways :)
I'm thinking of having mine serviced before I start gigging again - do Ashdown have a standard charge for a service? Anyone care to divulge said charge?
Didn't cost me anything except postage, but it was only little things like a loose valve and transformer that needed looking at.
