Headless machine head tuners

There are all sorts of headless tuners available with varying degrees of quality.

Found these while looking for a headless headstock.

Made from brass, rather than nickel,  the quality should be better than most.

  • TheGreek changed the title to Headless machine head tuners

Those tuners are not ideal by any means. You have to get the string out of the way to adjust the intonation. I have them on an ultra-cheap Chinese fan-fret headless which I'm still summoning up the desire to set up properly.

The ones in the last link are not all Hipshot. I just had a look at the comments for the 5-string one that's first on the page:

"Very happy with purchase yummy things. On trend and comfortable"

"These are pretty and comfortable. Fits perfect."

"Extra nice. I would definitely buy these again for a gift for someone."

"Love fabric. Received compliments. Great purchase. Fast delivery"

The Hipshot system in real life is £400+, so there's no possibility that you'd be paying $72 for a real Hipshot.

However I recently discovered that Hipshot's £100 hardtail guitar bridge has a visually-identical Chinese clone for around £13.

I'd be erm, interested if it turned out the headless system had a similar proportionally-priced cheap Chinese counterpart.

One of my concerns with the last website is that everything is either $71/ 72.

That would be on my list of concerns - it is literally everything on the entire website.

Some of the bridges are Hipshot, others not so, and there seem to be several entries for the same bridge using different pictures.

The "Contact us" page is interesting - their email is [email protected]. Alarm bells are going DINGDINGDINGDING.
