Ramp Question

I have thought about putting ramps on top of pickups before.

Say on a humbucker that was in the perfect place for my fingers. Even if the pickup had a smooth top and could get close enough to the strings the top would still be flat and the strings would be at different heights relative to the pickup. So a small ramp matching the radius would be great.

For exposed pole pickups it could even cover those too.

However - my woodworking skills are rubbish and I don't have a 3D printer!
