Ramsay777
Recommissioning a Jazz I bought from.a pal last year, been lying in bits since then. The Fender decal's flaking off and the serial no. doesn't seem to bring any results. The neck's pretty bashed up anyway so I might punt it for cheap on here and grab a Player Series neck for it. What say you guys?
Ramsay777
Cleaned up pretty well and it's nicely equiped with a set of Quarter Pounders and a Badass II. Thinking I might turn it into a wee project... Excuse the mess, im on a quick break from refitting the bathroom 😂
Old Horse Murphy
The serial number is the right range for a Mexican Fender matching the date stamps in the neck pocket and on the heel.
Crusoe
The neck was made on my birthday 😄
Baloney Balderdash
If it was a fake decal you got to wonder why on Earth they would chose to use a "Made in Mexico" one. Also usually fake Fender decals doesn't come with barcode and serial number. Edited September 29, 2023 by Baloney Balderdash
LeftyJ
The neck pickup position is interesting, it appears to be closer to the neck than on a regular P (or PJ). Was this originally a regular JJ?

If memory serves; previous owner sent it off to someone on here that used to do it for folk. Not sure who but they made a neat job of it
