Sire D5 that I bought new from Andertons when they first came out.

Beautiful roasted maple neck with roles fret edges. Plays like butter.

Classic vintage P bass sound from the single pickup.

No noticeable flaws or damage, in really nice condition. I think I have only gigged this once or twice, hence the reason for sale - it just doesn't get enough use to earn it's keep.

I would prefer a local pickup but I do have shipping boxes so I could ship it at cost (UK only).

Aargh. Stop tempting me! I don't need it and have just bought a P bass in the pass few weeks so can't justify it either but really like the look of this bass. I'd always vowed never to have a Sire as I dislike the headstock but it seems to work well on this bass.

Wow, killer deal. I'm not keen on having to pay import charges and 21% Dutch VAT over that amount, or I would be seriously tempted. That neck alone is droolworthy!
