G&L Tribute JB-2

I've got the pink G&L Tribute JB2.

It's very light. Really nice neck. Typical jazz width but thicker front to back.

The neck almost  looks like it's untreated but  has a very light finish applied to it.

It sounds great with both pickups on full.

It has plenty of other tonal options but the traditional both pickups on full works really well for me.

Love the P style body shape. It's very comfortable to play and balances well.

The pink finish is very pink and shiny. Almost wished I had picked a different colour.

That's interesting regarding the neck thickness. I've been looking at the sonic Blue one at Andertons which looks white in the Photo but has a Rosewood Fingerboard, i like the idea of the P bass type body as well as i find that the traditional offset type body which seems to be the norm with J basses a little too big for my body if you know what I mean, .anyway great reply thanks.

How would these compare to the G&L tribute P, apart from the pickup differences? I should have cut to the chase ages ago and got a G&L tribute!

Do you mean the Tribute LB-100?  Apart from pickups and controls, the neck width is different (wider nut on the LB-100 - 43mm plays 38mm).  JB-2 has no pickguard, LB-100 has one.

‘Twas more in terms of neck profile / feel I was thinking of
