asingardenof
Hi all, Over the weekend my aunt messaged me to say she'd seen a local artist who utilised leftover guitar and bass strings to create jewellery. You can see what she does over at www.stringeffects.square.site. If you don't currently have an outlet for recycling your old strings, please consider getting in touch with Karen to see if she could use them (she's a one-person operation though so can't take bulk deliveries). You can do so on Facebook at @stringeffectsuk or on Instagram at @stringeffects.
Steve Browning
I send mine to Guitarwrist. He makes jewellery, but sells the pieces for charity. https://www.theguitarwrist.co.uk/
TheGreek
Whenever I change strings I can't find anyone to take them so they usually end up in the bin. Maybe pin these threads.

Grimalkin
Keep them for rabbit snares, you're probably going to need them the way things are going... Unless you like eating boiled grass with a nice piece of dried larch bark, all of the time.
