I totally want that, having had a quick look at MacDaddy's Shukers. Unfortunately, poor quality control means that this otherwise very perfect and beautiful thing was assembled with five strings, instead of the regulation four. Tut!

Kevin can you tell us more about the bass.? What year was it made, seems to be an early Shuker.. what is the weight.? obviously its not a sunburst finish so that's confusing and its a flame top not a quilt.. Truss rod adjustment.??   Maple headstock veneer.? The pickups look to be Bartolini not EMG....Im aware James Crofts used to be a BC member and is a pro bass player.

Yes the pickups are Barlitoni , I got this & a 6 string bass from James years ago & have never used them ,I already have two 4 string Shukers , If you contact Jon Shuker he'll have the full details on it ,neck width etc ,I know it as an early one . I've just packaged it up along with some other basses ready to go up to one of the London shops .

Its a wonder it got past QC.....
