Ampeg B25-B tube amp from the '70s €975 - *SOLD*
£975
Netherlands

I am selling my fantastic Ampeg B25-B! It's truly a great sounding amp, but I decided to buy something with more watts for gigging. When a bass friend of mine offered his near mint 77 Ampeg V4-B, I didn't need much time to think about that. So this nice amp has now been replaced with it's bigger brother.

The amp is in used condition with some wear and aging on the face plate.

I had the amp checked up by my tech a few months ago, and all is good. A few pots may be scratchy due to little use.

It's a very simple, great sounding amp. It loves a passive P with flats! And it's actually pretty loud too with a decent cab, for it's rated 55 watts.
The amp can be used with either a 16ohm or 8ohm (dummy plug can be used) cab or total of cab.

Asking €1.150

I am located in the Netherlands, but could arrange shipping at buyers risk and costs if required. I have shipped tube amps before without any problems.

55 watts, maybe, but 55 Ampeg Valve watts..! In any decent cab, this is plenty enough for gigging, in any band configuration (well, maybe not stadium thrash metal...). I have the Fender equivalent of this (Bassman 50 Export...), which handles outdoor gigs with ease. You'll have to turn it down in most pub environments. Not that it's stupidly loud, but this rating cannot be compared to modern solid state amps. It's certainly not a bedroom amp..!
Just sayin'; good luck with the sale. B|
