Leeds

Time to part with my Ampeg SVT-5PRO head.  A bit reluctantly, but I don't need this much power these days for the gigs I do and I need to make some space.

I've owned this Amp for a long time ( it's a built in the USA model ), but it hasn't been gigged much in that time. It's fully flight cased and is in excellent condition.

I've had it checked over and serviced 2 months ago and they described it as "looking like new inside". They found a bit of play in one of the fans and replaced it.

I bought this amp from Cradle of Filth's road manager about 15yrs ago. This amp was their spare, so had travelled around on tour but had never been used. I had it flight cased and it's always been dry stored. The sound quality is superb, please follow the link to Ampeg's own info for the technical specs:

Buyer would need to collect it from me ( I'm in Leeds ) or arrange a courier.

Wonderful amp

I have many fond memories of these. Not sure I ever really used the overdrive channel on mine, it always sounded awesome though, especially with the ampeg 6x10

This looks to be in ace condition too, great amp for someone

Also worth mentioning, whilst it's not a lightweight 'stick it in your gigbag' type amp the extra size and weight is not prohibitive and - imo - well worth it in terms of the sound. Not wanting to start a classD turfwar etc, there just seems to be something that you get from these types of amps that you don't with the lightweight stuff...

anyway, glwts before I get myself into trouble

You know where it is if you ever want to come and play on it again Andy! 😛

+1 to this being an awesome piece of kit, in bridged mode with a proper OBBM cable this pumps out 1350w of bass terror. My band call it "THE BEAST" and im fairly happy with that nickname :)
