Traded some bases with Greeneking a few weeks ago and this was one of the three I got in the deal. The ACG02 makes it the most versatile bass I've owned
(check the threads for more information) but I can't take to this bass - but couldn't exactly say why!
The bass in this picture is not the actual one - I'll get some up as soon as I can, but will give BC'ers an idea of what it looks like(shape & colour). It is in absolutely mint condition

Looking for cash to fund a new custom.

I'm based in Liverpool and would prefer to do a deal at a mutually convenient place.

PM me with any offers.
Regards,
Ed.

Bump for a great looking bass.

I've got the same, a cherry red Euro LX 4 string. Sounds absolutely stunning, imagine the AGC would make a fabulous bass even better. Based on all the positive feedback, may look at replacing the stock Tonepump with one when funds and time allow.

Thanks Tony - it does sound great - infinitely variable and I would definitely recommend the ACG02 if that's your thing.

The sound of the bass isn't the problem for me (I'm not sure what it is). I suppose it's the equivalent of people saying Madonna is good looking - I just can't see it - and never could !

I was trying to find the pictures from Greeneking's original thread because I remember it was one foxy bass but he's removed them from Photobucket.

Please take some more so I can oggle at it! :)

I'd probably buy this if someone would buy my Squier VMJ.

I'm going to delve into my photo library today and retrieve the pictures. I had a photobucket blitz the other day.

I've just got back from my travels and caught this post, as good as my Blackberry is its no PC.

What can I say? This bass is beautifully made, sumptuously finished and in mint condition. I moved it on in order to reduce my collection and it was the one most difficult bass to say goodbye to. Everyone knows how good these basses are stock and the ACG02 just adds so much more. It may take a couple of days to explore and take in the new skills required to craft the tone you want but you'd have to be completely bonkers (imo) to put a Tone Pump back in, and Tone Pumps are great for what they do, just a bit 'in yer face' to my way of thinking.

If in doubt ask Alan (Niceguyhomer). This ACG02 actually has the passive tone control too. I found it very useful as a one knob instant adjustment between songs.

Photos later.

This bass is immense, you won't be disappointed if you make the leap.

Here's some retrieved photos. The picture with the gold knobs is with the ACG02 fitted.
