In my case, saying with logistics partner (but with no-quibble 30 day return), so I've asked them which will be easier for them ie for me to cancel/return or them to back date the code to the existing order?

 

Don't want to mess them around too much, though - let's face it, if this offer hadn't come through I'd have been totally fine paying them the listed price as it's already less other retailers.

I only got the code emailed late last night and shared it immediately.

This is why I couldn't work in customer service.  I would absolutely HATE to deal with customers like you 😂

 

It's unfortunate timing but sales are sales! If there was any warning, shops would never sell anything out of sale.  Though I'm sure there's no chance they'll pay for postage for the return, so even if you did return it, can't be a huge saving.
