Help needed ref sound checking

Wow. I’m only sounding out for advice. I’ve not dipped my toe in the effects game yet. Was merely wondering as it’s something I’d like to explore at some point. At most I’ll have a compression pedal for said gig but that’s it.

You did ask about sound checking with or without effects though. Clearly a question like that on this 'ere forum will garner a lot of interest and commenting will ensue. If you are going to use something at the gig, soundcheck it.

And it was worded like it involved multiple effects. And a compressor is probably the least intrusive fx unless you are properly misusing it!

@crag42 - no offence intended. Just see it as a load of people trying to help to make your life easier!
