I have one and im desperately scrabbling for a case that'll fit it This is the original Hofner case for this bass, and shows its 'vintage' roots (good only for nostalgia, as the latches and hinges are very much the worse for wear...). I offers very little protection for the instrument, too, having no padding. I've kept it, of course, but the bass is presently in a Thomann 'Gator' case, and is what we call a 'very snug fit'... ... Tight, but it won't be moving around whilst being handled..! All very well and good, but I see that this model of case is no longer referenced on the Thomann site..! They do, however, have several other bass cases, for electric or acoustic basses which would probably do the job. Have a look at their offerings, and if in any doubt, contact them for exact interior measurements of overall length, widest and narrowest bout, and body depth. I have on several occasions contacted them for this very sort of information, and have always been correctly informed. I have many Hofner basses and guitars, most of 'em in this style, so I know full well how tough it can be to find a good case, but Thomann have come up with the goods many times, for me.
