It's a start and being honest with myself, it could take as long as @owen's project.

I seriously doubt that.

I didn't mean it to look the way it came out.  I might get a bit done during the lock down but not a lot.  I'm using the time to allow ideas to gently percolate.  You know how it is...

I suggest the two of you consider your options:

  1. Fight to the death.
  2. Post 'progress with new bass concept' graphs.
  3. Exile to the BC Coronavirus thread.

If I post a graph can I do it without labeling either of the axes so I do not have to actually tell you anything? I saw someone do that recently and it seemed to work. Am I going to get banned now? :)

1.  Are you channelling for the late Ken Russell?

2.  I can do graphic, see?  Stick your graphs up the orifice of your choice.  They're just busy work for the terminally sluggish.

3.  Never heard of it.

Progress chasers; cuh!  I thought I'd finished with the rat race.

If you are really trying...

PM me and I will give you a shortlist of power words that you can slip past the filter and that are guaranteed to get you banned, ostracized and lightly beaten.  I've been kicked off a couple of sites before now.  A couple of them more than once.

@SpondonBassed : will your project be a headless one as I might have all the hardware needed (brand new, bought for another aborted project) ?

Yes.  Up to a point.

I want to terminate the neck in a less pointy way like the Strandberg that Jellyfish suggested:

I quite like the way that Strandberg (and other makers) do it - with a slightly 'figured' cutout:

I am interested to discuss your offer further however.  Very kind of you.

PMd.

That's pretty much the idea.
