Anybody got one - what are they like?

(apologies if this thread already posted!)[/quote]
They're bass reflex cabs, using the same cabinet technology as every other bass reflex cabinet in existence, loaded with dynamic drivers that use the same technology as every other dynamic driver in existence. That means the difference between them and every other 4x10 of similar size will be slight.

Well knowing what the Hartke 4.5XL (it's closest Hartke equivalent) sounds like.. If nothing else, the Aluminium cones will be very pleasing tonally. I can't wait to try them. The 4.5XL is a real perfomer and can produce a clearer top end and deeper bottom than a lot of other cabs on the market. Now that the price of them has dropped considerably, they easily out perform similarly priced cabinets. I think I bought my first one when they were £700+ , now you can pick them up online for about £350.

70lbs is heavy and 1000 watts might be a bit ambitious. Looks like most of the changes in the Hydrive line are in the amp department, but if you really want to push anywhere near 1000 watts I think 2 cabs are mandatory. I'd look for a good secondhand Neo cab.
