Got this through from Spector....Enjoy!

This is to let all our friends have a preview of the exciting new instruments that we are debuting next week at the NAMM show in Ahaheim California.

Spector has just debuted the Doug Wimbish Signature Model Euro Series Bass. The model
renews a relationship between Doug and Spector that stretches back over 20 years of recording
and touring. Doug has toured and recorded with numerous artists including Living Color, Mick Jagger, Carly Simon, Keb Mo, Tackhead
Measurements for the neck were taken directly from Doug's late 1980's USA NS-2 bass.
This neck was originally custom made to a narrower (1.5") nut width for Doug and the body was carved out of highly figured quilted maple.
Highlights of the instrument include:

Graphite reinforced 3 ply USA Rock Maple neck
24 fret Rosewood fingerboard with Mother of Pearl Spector inlays
Gold plated hardware, Spector locking bridge, Schaller tuners and straplocks.
Body wings laminated of Alder with a 4A Quilted Maple top
EMG active P & J pickups
Spector Tone Pump TM active EQ circuit
High gloss amber finish
Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original owner

This model is also available as a hand crafted USA instrument.

Spector is now offering a signature bass from Ian Hill of Judas Priest.
This Euro Series bass was developed with measurements taken directly from Ian's mid
1980's USA NS-2 bass. This somewhat thinner neck is graphite reinforced 3 ply Rock Maple

Spector Basses is now offering for the first time a short scale USA bolt on neck bass.
Known familiarly as "Shorty" the bass utilizes a 30 3/8" scale length 22 fret neck.
The neck features a pau ferro fretboard on a 3 ply graphite reinforced hard maple neck.
The original versions of this bass were built for Garry Tallent who has been using them for
years on tour with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
The body is the original Spector ergonomically carved shape with a light weight mahogany core.
It is available with a wide range of figured maple and exotic wood tops and stain colors.
All hardware is black plated and the electronics consist of EMG pickups and an Aguilar OBP-3 active tone circuit.

USA MSRP including hardshell case: $3249

Spector announces a new option of EMG MM4 and MM5 active pickups on both
USA neck thru and bolt on neck models. These wide aperture pickups sense a longer
area of the string and deliver a very wide range of fundamental and overtone signals.
These pickups will primarily be place in the bridge position of the Spector basses and
matched with a DC pickup in the neck position.
The upcharge for this option is $200 on any of the standard model Spector handmade USA
instruments.
