jamiepyrite Posted July 23, 2007 Share Posted July 23, 2007 Hi all, so I've been getting into this band called Gym Class Heroes lately and I'm very very impressed by their bassist. He has such a tight lock with the (very talented) drummer and he's a bassist that's learned that silence is a note. (Well.. It's a rest!) Plays some nice, tasteful funk/hip hop kind of grooves which complements the music perfectly. One of my current favourite bass players in pop(ish) music at the moment. Sibob Posted July 23, 2007 Share Posted July 23, 2007 What gets me is that in the 'Cupids Chokehold' single, the guy singing the chorus isn't even in GCH, its the singer from Fallout Boy lol So they're first single is a cover with another singer, difficult to follow methinks, but we'll see!
