Come home to Roost!

Wow! Just picked this cab from Roost in Cleckheaton.

I tried to look for an off the shelf solution for my live sound but was unable to find that thing that was me. Also I wanted something, so took a punt contacting theses guys. I knew they were producing guitar cabs but not bass so asked them and the said they would build one for me. A bit of a punt, but well worth it.

Went to pick it up this afternoon of Errol (the cabinet maker) and the craftsmanship, the sound and the 'smug local artisan purchase' feeling are out of this world.

Gets a debut live appearance this Sunday via a few different musical style, but can not wait till my bass is driving the immense fuzz low end through this bad boy.

Anybody know much about them or the history of Roost?

Ran it with a Selmer Zodiac 100w last night. Crumbs, I was elated. Sadly this amp isn’t mine, doesn’t work fully and is entirely unpractical for my needs but was a beautiful matchup.

Lots us to think about in my quest to find a perfect head match for this cab.

Pure fuzz joy.
