Wild Thing, I'm not sure I love you

Recommended Posts

So there I was, browsing the eBay listings, when I came across a bass I'd never heard of before:

And I looked at it, and I thought "that's interesting".

And then I looked TWO listings down, and guess what was there:

Don't you just love synchronicity?

Good name for an album, that.

Very 'interesting'... the shape is OK-ish, and at least a bit different, plus I like the sound of a 6 lb bass... what's with the anaglypta round the sides though?

Danos are built like semi hollows but using a form of hardboard (Masonite) for front/back. Not easy to get a seamless finish so they just run tape round the edge instead.

Simple,cheap and easy. Dano " by-words"  them 😎

No idea why committed T-40 owner like myself has one of these but I do😃
