Guitar/Bass amp modeller with dual tones

I like my Pod X3 Live which has decent models for bass and guitar, and lets you run two tones together e.g. clean and distortion blend. The editing interface is painful though.

Are there are more up-to-date alternatives that fulfil these criteria?

The Helix does.

 

For something simpler, the models on the B3 can be blended with a clean signal. Not with each other though...

Yeah the Helix seems like the only real option. Feels like the Line 6 bosses got the Pod X3 product manager into trouble for putting all the features into the base level model.

There's also the Pod HD range, next gen on from the X3 before you get to the super expensive Helix models.

It's superb on bass. And the main guy in charge of the Helix at L6 is a bassist so we'll definitely keep getting more toys in firmware updates.
