goblin Posted February 14, 2016 Author Share Posted February 14, 2016 Bit of a backwards step today at first, whilst rubbing back the coat of oil, a scar in the wood was spotted - looks like I did it on one of the hangers when I hadn't filed down the hook enough so it was a bit of a battle, so that was duly steamed out before any more progress could happen, it's currently on it's 4th coat now and looking great. Interestingly, the ash on the rear takes more of a shine than the maple cap... to be honest I quite like the effect! Got some more coats to go still, but it's getting closer by the day! goblin Posted February 28, 2016 Author Share Posted February 28, 2016 Probably due to high standards mixed with getting an amazing deal. The Infinity is in dock at the moment having some bits it needs doing done, gigged this one the last two nights and it can certainly hold a candle to the Infinity.
