For many it is the best Fender Precision, works in traditional passive and active sound. It has a powerful sound devastating, it is certainly the Precision you are looking for. Its preservation is immaculate as you can see in the pictures. I include an aftermarket smooth ride newly placed exquisite sound strings case,. It is hard to find in this finish and in this state. three Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 If all original, the circuit will be Fender's first proprietary active 2-band that was designed for this model. It's a powerful, if slightly hissy, unit and has some very usable tones - it can be by-passed for standard passive operation

three Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I only know of one other in such good condition - these are lovely basses and this is a beautiful example. 11 lbs plus is about right for these - unfortunately, much too heavy for me (all that solid brass really contributes to the weight)
