A very rare and amazing USA made MTD 635-24 Fretless Marilyn bass. It's 35 inch scale with a 24 fret range (2 octaves on the fretboard per string). These basses are a limited and rare product, handmade in the USA by master luthier Michael Tobias. The Marilyn range has acoustic chambers in the bass for a wonderfully lightweight bass with exceptional tone. It also has built in piezo pick ups in the bridge to give it an incredible range of tones. This bass has an upgraded matching heel and headstock with upgraded MTD world logo and laminated back of headstock. It also has glow in the dark luminlay inlays which glow brightly for hours when charged with an LED torch.

The pick-ups and active 3 band EQ electronics are custom made by Bill Bartolini. The controls are: master volume, a pick-up pan pot, treble, mid,(push pull 250/800), bass cut and boost, with center click (from neck to bridge). There is a blend pot in place of the normal 3 position switch. The blend shifts from the regular magnetic set up to an all piezo Ghost bridge system, and anywhere in-between. The EQ also shapes the piezo output too, so a huge variety of tones available.
