Hi there,

You're looking at my black Fender Jazz Deluxe MIM. It's in great condition, with one small ding near the jack socket - see pics.

The controls are Vol, Blend, Bass/Treble, Mids.

It's got a new battery and good strings. The tone is deep and meaningful and it's comfortable to play.

The weight is 4.3Kg, or 9.5lb

I'm in East Herts, but I can send by courier for the cost of shipping.

Now I've added a Hard case too... not great, but it's robust with metal corners.

For more pics: http://s1175.photobu...JD-black?sort=3

The ding in the bottom left corner looks a lot worse in the pic than real life.

Thanks for looking

Bump

What pickups are those?
How old is it?
How much wear/what kind of use has it had?
Is there any documentation for it?

Thanks in advance

It's in almost mint condition.
The pups are standard Fender for the time it was made.
I can't remember the year and today is the first day of my 2 weeks holiday. I'll have to post that when I get home. Something like 2005 seems to ring a bell, but I'm not at all sure. I do know the last owner bought it and never touched it for years.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
Just a couple more things:

What's the tone like, more specifically? How does it handle the mids and highs?
Is the neck finished well/is it as narrow as most other J-basses?

WRT tone, in my opinion the tones are good in the mid and high end. It doesn't have a clank like a MM. I might ask Shonks to answer this as he's more experienced and he's played it.

The neck is a true jazz. It's narrower than that on my P and those on my Warwick.

I`ve had the US Version before and it was easily the most versatile bass I`ve ever had. Too much temptation here Rich, sell it quickly!

Hey Lozz. You know you're really a Jazz man at heart. :P
