Have to say, I generally don't get Fodera's now even though I desired them from afar, some time ago. I've moved on as to what I want, and a Fodera doesn't fit.... atm.. Funnily, the same argument does not apply to a Smith... ????? The Badderer Posted April 22, 2015 Share Posted April 22, 2015 play it for ages really badly, maybe experiment with a new technique of playing it back to front, and then when the sales assistant comes over hand it over to them saying "it's a bit crap, haven't you got any decent basses in like those Fender ones.... I hear that bass player from U2 has just designed a new one, that's got to be better than this?" Or spend ages playing with it making the EQ as awful as possible and detuning the strings.... Of course I'd be incredibly polite in a shop, but might poke a few funny comments at them about the price.... there's a thread about this bass somewhere on Basschat don't you know?
