Pah. We're onto spreadable cheese now. This is where the thread really gets nasty. Anyone remember the Laughing Cow Flame Wars of 2006?

You do remember it. Aye it was carnage.
For those who don't remember, a newbie asked if Laughing Cow or Philadelphia Light was best for metal. Within 48 hours, all hell broke loose -- someone took out a contract on Ped, three fake Rickenbackers were sold, there was an armed siege in Doncaster, Nigel swore a lot and threatened to leave... madness, I tells ya.

I'm was so trying not to stoke that particular fire, but surely it depends on the sub-genre of metal. My recommendation would be Cathedral Mature Cheddar for your classic heavy rock and Stinking Bishop for blackened death metal.
