Greetings from the Irish Seaside

Hi everyone, after a while lurking and browsing for advice and info I've finally decided to participate a bit around here!

My name's Pete Pratt, I'm from Donaghadee, a small seaside town in County Down, Northern Ireland. Been playing bass in bands of varying quality for about 15 years now. Currently playing with three different bands : a Blues Brothers tribute show (Duck Dunn is a hero of mine so this is a dream gig), a pub rock cover band (to satisfy my guilty 80s rock urges) and most recently an indie rock band called Nanook writing original material (influenced by the likes of Athlete, Elbow, Doves etc).

When I'm not playing with other musicians I'm producing and recording them in my recording studio, Blueroom Recording

From what I've seen already I'll certainly be at home amongst all the fellow GAS sufferers here. Right this minute I'm fighting the urge to pick up a Jaguar Bass. It's going at such an attractive price it would be a sin to pass it up.
