1. Mooer Trelicopter and Dr Tone Power supply now sold
2. Just bought an Aguilar Filter Twin from Paul, smooth process and really quick delivery, well protected in packaging.
3. Hi Paul, I'm interested in taking this. I'll send you a PM
4. Clearing out some of my lesser used pedals to make way for a few new items that are incoming. These are all in great condition because they've not been used outside of my studio. Pigtronix EP-1 Envelope Phaser, with 12V AC power -- £100 Mooer Trelicopter Tremolo -- SOLD Dr Tone PSU-10 pedal board power supply, with all the power leads, -- SOLD I'm based in Northern Ireland but the above prices include postage to the rest of the UK. 5. I'd be very interested if this is still available, I'll message you now.
6. Fulltone Bass Drive Mosfet Great sounding pedal ranging from just a bit of edge to full on dirty roar whilst still keeping a fat and tight bottom end. £100 including postage anywhere in the UK/Ireland. Pigtronix EP-1 Envelope Phaser Fat and expressive envelope phaser that also has an LFO mode for univibe/leslie type effects and lots of weirdness inbetween. Also excepts external audio trigger sources for the envelope (for example a drum machine or even a vocal for pseudo voice box stuff) and has an input for an expression pedal to give you a sweepable speed on the LFO. Very versatile and very warm sounding. £120 inlcuding the power supply and postage within the UK/Ireland. I'm not looking for any trades at this time thanks.
7. Bump again, no trades please, looking for a straight sale.
8. Hi, apologies about the case. The shop I bought it from had told me it's Hiscox and I took them at face value at the time. I should have the original tuning peg somewhere in the studio, I rarely throw anything out! I'll check on that today.
9. Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 3EQ for sale, honeyburst with a black scratchplate and rosewood neck. This has been my main gigging bass for the past 4 and half years. It's a fantastic instrument and it pains me to sell it but I'm making the change to five string as my main instrument and need the cash for a Lakland I have my eyes on. It comes with the Musicman branded Hiscox flightcase and a Hipshot drop-tuner fitted to the E-string. There are a few very minor scratches on the back but nothing noticable without a detailed inspection. There are a couple of dings on the headstock but again they can't been seen unless you go looking for them. I'm looking for £750 or very nearest offer. If you're insterested give me a shout on 07801290492 or email [email protected]
10. Hi everyone, thanks for all the interest but all these pedals are now sold. Quickest turn around time on selling stuff I've ever had I think!
11. Hi folks, making a few changes to my live setup, simplifying things. So I've a few pedals I'm no longer going to be using and there's no point in them cluttering things up. All the pedals are in good condition and have been well looked after, transported in a solid pedal board. Special delivery postage within the UK for each item is included in the prices mentioned. To contact me about any of the below then either email [email protected] or phone/text 07801290492. Postage to Cheers.... Barge Concepts VFB-2 (blendable effects loop with feedback) -- £50 EBS Unichorus -- £80
12. Bump If you need more photos, I've taken some with my camera phone. You can get them at : www.blueroomrecording.co.uk/pbass.zip
13. Crafted in Japan 62 Reissue Fender P-Bass, Vintage white, dark red tort scratchpate, rosewood fingerboard, US Vintage pickups. Really slim neck profile for a P-Bass, low action with no rattles or buzzing. Currently strung with half-wound strings for a motown/stax soul vibe. I'm looking £425 o.n.o. Based in Belfast but willing to post in the UK/Ireland. [email protected] 07801290492
14. Boss Bass Overdrive for sale. It's only ever seen studio use and is in perfect condition. Selling as part of a general thin out of my pedal collection and this is the bass drive I use the least out of the three I have. £30 Based in Country Down, Northern Ireland but I'll pay half the postage costs to anywhere in the UK. So it would only be about £2.50 postage. I can be emailed through [email protected] or the private messages here. Thanks.
15. I recently got a Fulltone Bass Drive and it's by far the most natural and best sounding drive I've heard for bass. I own an ODB-3 too and whilst it's quite good for deliberately over the top fuzz I find it a bit thin and and fizzy if trying to be more subtle. Same with the blowtorch when I tried it but it was certainly more mid-rangey than top heavy. I've never tried the Bass Juice but I did try the TC Vintage Bass Distortion and it's supposed to be the same pedal and it was quite nice except I found the "boost" setting very unflexible. The Fulltone has effectively two channels because there is a seperate control for how much extra gain the boost switch gives you. So I set up the first channel to give a little growl when I dig in and the second to really gain things up but it always stays full and meaty. The problem with using the EQ to tame the hi end of the "fizzy" pedals is that it also kills all the natural highs of the dry bass tone and things get very indistinct very quickly. If you find yourself using EQ or Tone controls at the extremes of their ranges all the time then you're using the wrong pedal for the sound you want in my opinion.
16. All these pedals have seen studio use only. Reason for sale is to make space and recoup funds for some new Fulltone and Blackstone pedals that I've just obtained. The Toadworks pedals are guitar pedals I know, but I thought people might be interested, or know someone who is. Prices included delivery in the UK. Boss Bass Overdrive ODB-3 Overdrive specifically designed for bass. Onboard two-band equaliser. Balance knob controls dry/overdriven sound. £35 o.n.o. Toadworks John Bull Vintage British overdrive (marshall JCM tones) £60 o.n.o. Toadworks Mr Ed "Brown Sound" overdive, clear and transparent, good dynamic response. £60 o.n.o. You can email me via [[email protected]][email protected] or leave a PM here. Thanks.
17. I know the Ashdown lets down the yellowness, but hopefully I'll be getting a Little Mark II in the next month or two for gigging duties so I can retire the battered Ashdown to studio use only.
18. Took possesion of an EBS Unichorus from Lee last week. The whole process was as smooth as a baby's backside so I'd have no hesitation in dealing with him again should the situation arise.
19. My Fulltone Bass Drive arrived today and I don't think I could be happier, it's just what I was after. So in celebration here's my current setup : Everything is in the Barge Concepts loop except for the tuner that comes in front and the compressor which comes after it. The echo park is just there to give me a volume swell (combined with octaver, chorus and reverb for hammond-esque atmospherics), I'll long term look to replace it with a Slow Gear or similar clone. The Boss Super Octave might get replaced with an EHX Micro Pog and the Dynacomp will probably get replaced with a EBS Multicomp at some point but I'm happy enough for now.
20. I'm playing in a Blues Brothers tribute show and now that a year of gigs under our belt has us totally familiar with the material we have got to learn properly choreographed dance moves from the film. I'm really starting to wish I was a drummer and could sit the whole thing out!
