I really didn't think I was going to be able to do this as there is little in the selection of basses that appeals to me and those that do are all way over the total budget available and none are suitable image-wise for my current band.

However I spotted this [url=http://basschat.co.uk/topic/242696-burns-barracuda/]Burns Barracuda[/url] and everything else fell into place.

To go with it I'd replace my [url=http://basschat.co.uk/topic/251777-line-6-bass-pod-pro-xt-l160ono/]Bass Pod[/url] and download my saved patches from my Mac.

Since the Pod does the tonal niceties, pretty much any amp will do so this [url=http://basschat.co.uk/topic/252743-peavey-combo-300-bass-amp/]Peavey[/url] is solid and reliable.

£740 all in if my sleep deprived state isn't stopping me from being able to carry out basic maths. Would possibly add the Darkglass B7K to it as well for £220 and still have £40 for fruit based soft drinks.
